Hey... Maybe not all the drivers are running ok... but with my FW410 I had just 1 "little" problem but it had been sorted out since the release of the driver 1,2 .... and never had crashes, no problems with firewire... just great sound quality, portability, stable, easy to use, and a great price first of everithing!. I'm running panther 10.3.3 on a powerbook G4... And it works great with every single program... from Live, reason, etc... to Tassman, Cubase, and any player... even in rewire mode... just great...
So be shure that everithing is ok with your computer... update your drivers... and then.... well, good luck

M-Audio is the last I would buy for my Mac.
I allready had in erlier times the Biport Midi Interface: The Drivers where a mess.
I allready had the TRANSIT Audio USB interface: The Driver didn´t supported various Systems of OS X really well. I had everytime problems of no sound output...restsrting the machine was the solution angry.gif
However ... beware me of M-AUDIO wink.gif angry.gif angry.gif angry.gif

I sold the stuff... biggrin.gif

my experience...

my opinion:

M-AUDIO sucks M-AUDIO sucks M-AUDIO sucks M-AUDIO sucks M-AUDIO sucks M-AUDIO sucks M-AUDIO sucks M-AUDIO sucks M-AUDIO sucks M-AUDIO sucks M-AUDIO sucks M-AUDIO sucks M-AUDIO sucks M-AUDIO sucks M-AUDIO sucks M-AUDIO sucks M-AUDIO sucks M-AUDIO sucks M-AUDIO sucks M-AUDIO sucks M-AUDIO sucks M-AUDIO sucks M-AUDIO sucks M-AUDIO sucks M-AUDIO sucks M-AUDIO sucks M-AUDIO sucks M-AUDIO sucks M-AUDIO sucks M-AUDIO sucks M-AUDIO sucks M-AUDIO sucks M-AUDIO sucks M-AUDIO sucks M-AUDIO sucks M-AUDIO sucks M-AUDIO sucks M-AUDIO sucks M-AUDIO sucks M-AUDIO sucks M-AUDIO sucks M-AUDIO sucks M-AUDIO sucks M-AUDIO sucks M-AUDIO sucks M-AUDIO sucks angry.gif
