I want to get a FW410, but I've read some really bad things about the OS X drivers. Has anyone here tried the latest (4th March 2004 IIRC) drivers? Is there some improvement?

Hi. I use the FW410 with a Mac G4 running Panther. Host is Logic 6. Runs fine. I downloaded the latest upgrade of the driver last night and it works fine also. The FW410 has been running fine for me for several months.

For me the earlier driver caused kernel panics when putting the laptop to sleep. However it's better with the new driver. Apart from that they work fine.
