 Speaker Problems, Using built in and external speakers. |

I have an emac and am running osx 10.3.2. I have recently purchased some speakers but found that I cannot use them in conjunction with my built in speakers. They are not USB, they plug in to the output jack. Any help would be appreciated.

This may be known to you (if its obvious my apologies for teaching my grandmother to suck eggs) but when you plug in the external speakers jack plug into the headphone jack it removes the internal speakers from the macs output so you can use headphones in silence.
You can use the internal speakers or the headphones not both. Chris Reed |
