Hi

I hope anybody can help me orientating in the sound-card-jungle!

I just bought an G4 700 with 1.2 GB RAM. I want to be working with Logic 6 on OS X (10.3)
I got a mixer, so I don't need any preamps,...

Also I don't want to spend that much money, since I'm not a professional and am just starting on the whole thing. (max. ~350 EUR)

I was thinking about m-audio 1010LT or maybe the emagic 6|2 m (or other ones???) ?
I heard there is problems with both of them!

I just want about 6 inputs and a MIDI I/O

What do you guys think?

Thanks a lot

Toby

I've used a 1010LT for a year and a half on a Mac G4.
It's a little slow and clumsy, but it does have plenty
of ins and outs, including 2 XLR in. But no XLR out.

It seems to argue with the computer about who gets
priority from time to time, which is a pain.

If you could get it cheap, it might be a good deal.
