Two questions:
1) What is the best software for downloading songs to a Mac? 2) What's the best site to find lots of songs? -------------------- Clay Kallam

Limewire... find it at cnet.com and look in downloads. Napsterish app that will locate audio, video and apps on the net using P2P protocol. I have yet to find ANY web sites that are worth the aggrivation of digging through tons of bad links just to download one song unless you go to mp3.com or related site that offers free downloads of indie music and maybe a few big label stars.

Thanks for the tips ...
We're looking to download some old songs for a wedding CD, and what I'm hearing from you is that there really aren't any sites that will have Stevie Wonder and Bob Seger songs, say, available for download. If that's the case, then I really don't need to download the limewire ... and I guess I need to try to do it via Windows. -------------------- Clay Kallam

I am a little confused how Windows could really help in your search. If you are willing to pay for music... then goto emusic.com and they may have what you seek. If paying is something you are not likely to do then limewire is your best bet for finding a specific artist. Most web sites that have links to mp3's are illegal and either are shut down before they make a stand or they contain lots of bad links from others who had to remove files from the internet or face penalties. I gave up looking for music on renegade mp3 sites because of that. It was waste of time whether on Mac or Windows. That's my opinion and I have been getting music from the net for over 5 years. ;-) Happy Hunting.
P.S. Be aware that some of the sites such Audio Galaxy use spy software that traces music downloads of copyrighted music... I am not kidding... have read articles in music and computer mags on it. -------------------- ----------------------------------------
