Hello,
does anyone know how to help setup a Midiman Radium61 Key Controller to play MIDI in Pro Tools LE 6.0? what sampler do you recommend if required also? Thank you, |

must have drivers installed and OMS installed then you must setup OMS to read the Midiman controller. once that is setup... ProTools will read it and you can record your notes but you won't hear anything unless you have a soft synth or sampler as you mentioned. If you are interested in a sampler... look at Sampletank. Simple and easy to use RTAS plug sampler that comes with tons of samples. I think you can run it on up to eight different tracks too which is nice. I know there are a few others but can't think of 'em right now. Heck... you might even want to consider just getting Reason 2.0 and the little app (Rewire I think) that connects Reason 2.0 with ProTools. For the same price as the sampler plugs... it has samplers, synths, loops players and FX.
