Greetings to all,

I would like to ask your advice on what is a good mac shareware program for simple multi-track recording. My wife would like to make sound recordings of her music.

Matt

Pro Tools Free is the by far the best thing you will find for under $200.00 and it's free.

Read the install directions carefully before you start.

Hi Matt,

How many tracks do you need? What OS are you using? More than likely if you are going to buy a soundcard for your Mac to record via input, you will get free software with that card. Also depends on how much of a learning curve. Quick and simple or something you want to tool around with for several hours/days/weeks.
