In the arrange page i can't figure out why some track folders are black and not red like the others. I have 2 tracks like this- one works, the other doesn't! They're on different channels, all using samples. How do i make them red ie. output ok? And what does it mean when they're black? Any ideas, Walter? (or anyone else!). I still want your babies...

Hi Umbongo,
are you really speaking of 'folders' or do you mean the track icons? (Why are you using folders?) Hmmm... Kind regards Walter |

Hi Umbongo,
the colour of a track icon has nothing to do with its function. It's only a tool to mark different tracks and the corresponding recordings. You can set a colour in the arrange window's local 'view' menu: 'object colours' and 'instrument colours to objects'. If some tracks play & some don't you better check the instrument's parameters: audio device (Mac/ASIO/DAE ...). type(Track/Instrument/In-/Output...) and the routing you've done in the audio mixer. Kind regards Walter |
