hello - i just purchased a used MOTU2408 and along with it came a copy of the Audiodesk software.
I'm anxious to get rolling with it - but when i try to install the software from the installation cd, it prompts me for a user code. it tells me this code can be found in the inside back cover of the user guide - but nothing is there. I have a serial # which is printed on the registration card in the front of the book - but that doesn't un-gray the "ok" button. Now - i managed to get in touch with the person i bought it from, and he says that he may have a diskette that is usually used to authenticate the software. and on that disk is a code that users without a floppy drive would enter? But he is not sure if he knows where this disk is. so - while i know it is taboo in most cases to ask for such things - can anyone here help me out?! I'm a real user here - not a software pirate. so, please help a guy have a good weekend. please email me- masshoff@attbi.com thanks in advance! Mike |

I can't provide you with any direct help on it, but here is MOTU's contacts page:
http://motu.com/english/techsupport/index.html Since AudioDesk ships with their hardware, if you e-mail them with your plight and some hardware identification information from your 2408, I feel certain they would be willing to help you resolve it. Good luck with it. |
