Hey guys... i have an Edirol PCR-80 midi keyboard that i am trying to use with Garageband and Logic on Mac OSX Leopard. When i load up garageband, they keyboard causes a pulsing sound that takes the form of whatever digital instrument is selected in the program.. it is a steady pulse and i cannot get it to stop. In Logic, it happens with some of the instruments, but not all of them. When i unplug the keyboard I dont have this issue. I have updated my drivers from the Edirol website, but the problem remains... does anyone know how to deal with this or what the problem is? PLEASE HELP because its driving me insane! Thanks..

Ooo, this one is good. you've got to do some debugging, though.
hit record. does the track show midi information streaming in? if there is, notes will be recording, and you'll see them in the graphic editor display.

random notes being sent sounds like a hardware problem with the controller, BTW.
good luck.
