I've been biding my time looking for the perfect OSX sequencer - (devoted to the Mac, Rewire enabled, project transferable to professional studios, maximum copatibility and felxibility with other software and hard ware). Should I keep waiting or just jump in?
Cubase SX (+) Rewire, flexibility with other software (-)devoted to mac?, tranferable to professional studio? Logic (+) devoted to mac, tranferable to professional studio (-) No Rewire, expensive, Flexibility and compatibility? DP (my last hope) + devoted to the mac - motu hareware, Rewire? Protools (same as logic but not devoted to the mac?) Want to know more. From everything I've read I would like to go with Logic, but I love Reason too much (any work around?) Any speculation or DP? Anyone with PT 6? Please help! |

protools can use reason through an app called "refuse" (http://www.refusesoftware.com/). but only on a mac (OS 9).
and I didn't get this "devoted to the Mac" thing. it's a computer. it doesn't need devotion. it needs electricity. for the long run, you might want an application that can run on all platforms. |

Good point! Poor choince of words. I just don't want the sequencer I choose to do what Emagic did to it's PC users.
