Hello everyone

I'm in the process of starting a new digital label. My distributor / promoter has advised me that I need to embed my ISRC codes into my master mp3 files and he suggested that this can be done in Peak 5.2. I've had a look at Peak and I can see how you embed ISRC codes onto a CD within the Playlist feature, but I've not found any help about the MP3 option - I've asked tech support (no answer), I've been on the Peak forums (no answer), so I'm looking to the good people on the Mac Music forums to maybe help me out.

Many thanks in advance.

I am aware of how to add ISRC codes using Masterlist and if you Use OS X 10.4 and a compatible burner ISRC codes can be added to CD-Audio tracks using Peak Pro 5.2 as the burning app. ISRC codes can be added to CD-Audio tracks as CD-Text or as Subcode Data. Read pages 156-157 and pages 165-166 of the Peak 5.2 users guide. The write ISRC codes option is found via the Audio CD Dialog check off boxes in the Configure Burn Settings Dialog when burning from a playlist in Audio CD mode. To enter the codes you would do that in the ISRC Playlist Event Column while in list view. What I am not aware of is if ISRC codes can embedded into an MP3. It would most certainly need to be an ISRC Code that is added as Subcode Data as opposed to CD-Text which is used for certain CD-Text compatible Audio CD players. I need to look into the issue of where an ISRC code is stored in an MP3 if it is possible.
