Okay, so long story short, I will be having a track on a major release album. But the track they chose to use was originally made on Fruity Loops a couple of years ago.
I need to have this Fruity Loops file converted to a Pro Tools file in order for the studio staff to lay it down properly. How can I do this? Is it possible? And if not, what do you suggest I do? THIS IS A VERY URGENT AND IMPORTANT ISSUE, I HAVE TO DEAL WITH PRONTO. THIS VERY WELL COULD BE MY BIG BREAK. ANY ADVICE OR HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED!!! THANKS! |

One way is that I understand that Fruity can be a rewire slave to Pro Tools. You would open PT then Fruity and rewire/record all of your tracks from Fruity into PT. This may be a little more work than is necessary. The other is that you can take the individual tracks in Fruity (assuming that they are all Wav or Aiff and not midi/virtual instrument files) and insert them as individual tracks in PT.

Ohhh I see what you mean....I'll try it out when I get back. But definitely, thanks for the help. It's a real hassle for me because I don't use FL anymore and I don't have Pro Tools. I use Reason 3.0. So as soon as I buy myself the Pro Tools kit, I'll test it out.
Again thanks. If you ever need anything hit me up on myspace at www.myspace.com/triple101 |
