Can you really tell the difference between a 128k AAC file and the original? Here's the song Young Pilgrims by The Shins. Below are two versions of the song, "A" and "B". One is the original and one has been compressed. It's your job to tell me which one is which. Download A Download B Which is the original? Click here if you'd like to just see the current results. * These songs are compressed with the Apple Lossless encoder. The standard format for listening tests is FLAC, but I thought that since this is an Apple-oriented test, more people would have iTunes and thus be able to actually listen to the clips. If you go to the University of Oregon, check out DuxList, the project that I spent more then a few hours on, but won't submit to Digg. DOWNLOAD B plus transparente nortamment aux niveau de la voix . un chouillat plus de basse sur la gratte .
