hello guys,
i´m new in the forum and need to know if someone can help with the following: i have a macbook pro working with windows xp pro. To record songs i use cubase sx 3 and edirol FA 66. The problem is that when i use the edirol with cubase, the sound doesn´t work well, even when i´m playing and recording. seem´s the metronome stops or jump but it isn´t a fix thing. cant old the correct time. I try edirol in mac os x with logic and it works well. But in windows with cubase doesn´t work. i didn,t to upgrade cubase sx3 to 4, because with that maybe edirol works on mac os x. any help please. bosc. |

Have you updated your Mac Drivers for Windows? I believe there was a recent update.
There were some issues with audio drivers for Windows using Mac hardware with the initial release, but my understanding is that these have been fixed in the latest update. Don't have the link but it should be fairly easy to find on the Apple site. -------------------- www.myspace.com/commercialmusicstudios

hi,
thanks for the reply. I have install the last bootcamp 1.2 with the last drives, but works the same. i supose it´s a problem with the edirol drivers, Edirol don´t work well with the firewire port in macbook pro. because cubase works well with a usb digidesign Mbox, with asio for all, and others. Just dont work with edirol FA 66. it´s strange. ill try to contact with edirol to see what they cant say about. thanks. |
