It would appear there are some folks on this site that dont have a sense of humour...

angry.gif

I know I never feel too happy when I look into my wallet and it's been emptied by a corporate entity.

unsure.gif

This subject isn't boring to the individual who is about to 'buy into a financial trap'. Just trying to help people make the right choices so they have some cash left over to pay their mortgages. Oh yes, and find that creative edge in their music software.

blink.gif

No offence intended.

Just sound advice to those who require it...

Hi Presto. I quote you:

1) "I do understand, though. I was in a terrible mood a couple of days ago and should have had enough brains to go for a walk instead of upset people."

Who did you upset?

2) "Are you suffering from withdrawal symptoms?"

I'm clean in every sense of the word, m8.

3) "Teiwaz, if you'd like to have a nice brawl, you could open a ring in the open bar. Please do invite me. Hehe! (You wouldn't be from Lancashire would you?)"

Yeah, I happen to know Lancashire very well. I have Liverpool/Scottish/Welsh blood, though I find that it rains a little too much in Lancashire. Whalley's nice, though. I lived there for a while. Wouldn't want to spend my life in Clitheroe though. Where do you hail from in Lancashire? Cumbria's way more engaging. Blackburn's a bit depressing but the people are nice. Rawthenstall is even more depressing. That's why you have Blackpool nearby.

I'm not the bar room brawl type...got more important things to do - like making music, m8! LA tends to be a little more busy than the north of england...I have personal experience of that.

Nice to meet someone who is from my native Lancashire!

"ey up lud, there's trubble at mill"

Cheers!

Your opinion is valuable and appreciated... It would be even more appreciated if you could keep from saying that people using some kind of tools (PT for example...) are complete idiots ("Do those who use PT really know their a**e from their elbow, I ask myself?")... Humour has nothing to do with it...you can add all the smileys you want, your opinion, the way you put it, IS agressive, not funny...at all.
That would help creating a more constructive spirit around here... That's all I'm saying (as I've always had)... Meanwhile if you wanna say Digi is crap... Feel free to say it here...this is one of those forum where opinions on products and manufacturers are welcomed... We don't get ANY money from advertising. I'm not a huge fan of Digi myself, just a user who doesn't like to get trashed...

In your own words, Mr T.

Quote 1) "Don't judge people and spit on them when you don't have the full picture...thank you."

Nobody judged anybody.

Quote 2) "Arses are like opinions..."

And in my opinion, yours is from said physical comparison..

Quote 3) "You've made an album with E.Clapton?... Good for you!... Am I gonna bend over and lick your boots for that?... I don't think so... The fact that you've worked with Clapton doesn't mean a thing to me... It all depends on what you've done for the guy...and even if you should have produced/recorded and mixed his whole album, Clapton's records are, in my very small/ humble/ insignificant opinion, not what I would really called "creative stuffs"...far from it"

Talk about attempting to offend people, what do you call this tirade against Damann, then?! Politeness?! This was my FIRST IMPRESSION of you. Not impressive at all.

Dont put words into my mouth Mr T! I never said PT users are "idiots".

I'll use smiley faces as much as I like with my humble opinions.

I'm outta here...

Teiwaz and I have an age old understanding. The only difference is the coulour of our roses. We are therefore 'enemies' who will only stop fighting to buy the next round blink.gif

Anyway, back to topic: I say to anybody who want's 'low-end' digi stuff "Go for it, it's very good" and you won't be wasting your money.

Still, digi's treatment of users of high-end digi stuff seems difficult to stomach. Also, I'm sure there's a forum somewhere, specially for complaining about digi

Pint o' bitter please, Teiwaz.

for your information guys,
teiwaz is a dear friend of mine, a thoroughly decent chap, an exceptional and knowledgeble musician/programmer, who like me, has been using digi gear for a long time, thus has an interesting and valid opinion on their products. wink.gif
he, as friends do, took offence to mr t's attack on me earlier in this thread!
all the regular posters here provide great & knowledgeable insights into this murky world and i believe teiwaz will prove to you all that he can be counted in that number. wink.gif
please everybody, welcome the great teiwaz! cool.gif
oh yeah. the 828 has to be the winner here, thoroughly discussed months ago...

Mmm kisskiss aw smile.gif

Glad you're here Teiwaz, but please remember your horrendous experience is with high-end gear. Let those with low ends wink.gif enjoy their tools (oops, this sounds like it should be deleted) blink.gif
