hello everyone... my problem is hudge : I have lost the MWeq on my plugins list !!!!!!!!!!
It's been 2 weeks since I bought DP5, the EQ was there, I did few recording sessions, didnt' touch anything and suddenly , when I need it.. BAM it's gone.... in the software. I still have a "MasterWorks EQbundle in the plugins folder in the library, but it doesn't appear anymore on teh software (inserts)... I finally uninstall DP5 with the installer CD and then re-installed it... but the problem remains : impossible to find it.... any idea???? HELPPPPPPPP |

Take a look inside the MAS folder:
Library -> Audio -> Plug-ins -> MAS - you should see MasterWorks EQ.bundle. |

allways repair your permissions after installing any software. could be as simple as Dp not having the correct permissions to access the MAS folder.

hello, I had exactly the same problem as you, and it is solved now. The problem in my case was that I used DP 4,6 and DP 5,0 and DP5,1 on the same mac, OSX tiger. After experiments, I saw that something strange happened while exporting a 5,1 project to another version of DP: the EQ plugin was gone, and some text in the MW gate etc disappeared.
I could get rid of the problem by: * changing the language of my computer into English (I am Dutch speaking) and changing some parameters in time etc... I read something about this on the site of MOTU, they had some kind of problem with DP 4,6 * after restarting, EQ was there again * if necesary, you can change language to the original again * I know this solution might sound being stupid, but in my case it worked well * throwing away the 5,1 and working further on the 5,0. In this case, I can go on with the 4,6 as well Good luck, Frank |
