THANKS to everyone who posted on my previous message- some of my problems are now resolved...mainly solved by waiting for 3rd party sofware companies to FINALLY update their software .. at last things are moving forward !!

***please read my new post*** I am having a couple of minor problems with logic channel strips not showing correctly.

I really appreciate all the comments and suggestions made by you guy's 'in the know'....but I'm real glad it wasn't a hardware problem.

So,it appears that my machine was'nt at fault after all !

CHEERS PAUL

Paul R,

No info re Pro Tools, but "Updating" can sometimes create new/different problems. It is best to hear what other users say about the 'Update'. Better to let someone else do the 'Dirty Work'. Unless, it is something that is going to drastically change your sound or workload... Keep what you have and know (Still learning to use).

Here's a long shot... Graphic Card or Display Setting might becausing problems? I hope it's simple as Display Settings, I had a similiar problem with Logic "Pre" Pro. I have only dreamed about owning Pro Tools! But, I'm happy with Logic.
