hi i like the new look... it's been awile. I'm wondering if anyone can help me figure out how i can split my keyboard as to allow the bottom half to control one software instrument and the top to control a second. I have a feeling this all takes place in the environment but i can't figure out where. I'm also unable to figure out how to control logic's software instrument parameters with my midi keyboard. I'm using an e-me x-board. Any insight would be greatly aprecciated. Thanks!

That should be a function of your keyboard, the ability to split and transmit on different midi channels.

Hey man, I actually have the template to do that. I had someone make it for me a few weeks ago. If you want it you can just give me your e-mail address. Or if you have AIM I can send it to you over that.

It's easy - you just open two instruments, adjust the limit for the responding keys for each of them on the left of arrange window (in the parameters subwindow) and press the "R" (recording) on each of the tracks. You don't have to edit any keyboard zones in your keyboard nor edit the environment! It's even better, cause you can save the whole thing in Logic |
