QUOTE (soif @ Thu 25 May 2006, 11:58) It did not succeed to be sent... I'should fixit ASAP, as well as hundred of others things In the meantime, you can use the new "track this forums" options (from the 'options' menu) that will sent you any new discussions in the forums that you have selected. Mhmmm something to remove from the wishlist… oops QUOTE (soif @ Thu 25 May 2006, 14:31) QUOTE (deaconblue @ Thu 25 May 2006, 14:27) Got the digest last night! Thanks for all the efforts.

There's another thing that I reacted against immediately when I saw the new design, and that is that the ad banners sort of block the layout. The basic new design is very smooth and mellow, blue grayish, while the ads are crazy ugly screaming. The eye gets really distracted by the screaming ads, in its path from the upper left corner to the content in the middle. The old heavily boxed layout was actually better in that aspect, cause the boxes gave sort of equal authority to anything boxed. I think it could be solved by moving the left ad space to the right or something. Then the flow of sight would go from logo, to subcategories, to content. Wohoooo but I gues ads are supposed to be intruding?!? Anyway, a damn good job. It is really mellow and nice. I didn't want to say anything at first , cause people obviously worked hard and did a damn good job with it! Yeah, I got some graphic skills and experience, hence the nerd-talk above, and i will try making a suggestion for a logo, as soon as I get time, that elusive missing link. Keep it up!

for the logo, you see the space there is… We really like the soundwave, the rest can change… Graphics will slightly change still, it's not set in stone (save positioning, or the webmaster will get crazy I'll signal your post to the webmaster (he's heavily debuging so…) on the left/right balance, only him can answer. I'm not sure the ads position is that thought on. Now if people find some of the ads ugly, let us know, we can tell the advertisers it a sore to the eyes (seriously). On the forum, as we use the last version of Invision Powerboard, there's a lot of functions new for members, save if you're familiar with other boards using it (the 2.0 is a year old, we waited the massive debugging period to get a mature forum). I'll start a thread to signal the new functions in the "forum help".
