I just purchased an iBook and installed ProTools Free and the latest version of OMS. The problem is that OMS can't get past the initial setup screen before freezing the computer. I've tried re-installation and removing DigiSetup files in the System folder (a suggestion from Opcode's website; I tried emailing them earlier this week, but their customer service seems pretty non-existant). I can't open ProTools Free without it automatically triggering the OMS setup screen which, of course, causes it to freeze. Anyone have any suggestions?

Does ProTools require OMS??? If not, start-up with all the extensions off. (hold down shift key during start-up) and remove the OMS extemsion and application. Start-up again and run ProTool. See if it is working properly. If it is, then install OMS. Remember to read any read me files thats included with OMS & ProTools. Sometimes extension conflicts will cause the computer to freeze. Try using the base extension set plus the ones you need to run the program and see if that helps.
