not on my set up, and i installed all the extras too.

did u set up and start jack before launching ardour? (from the Jackpilot application) It works for me (except if i remember correctly the keyboard shortcuts for play/stop/record dont work...

and Ardour just quits Make sure Ardour is in your Applications folder or your User/Applications folder. Otherwise it will just quit, at least on my system it does.

I had ardour in a folder at first, it would not start until i removed it from the folder and placed it in applications. Starts up fine now. Also doesn't seem to like the waveshell vst being present in the vst folder.
