 Reason3 And External Harddrives, My personal Library does no appear |

Hola to everybody!! well, I just installed Reason3 in my PB 6,4Gh, tried to open my Samples SoundBank wich is in a LaCie Fw External HD and I don't see it anywhere. There was a sound locations option in preferences (Reason 2.5), it doesn't appear in 3. Did they take it away?? Can I just work in the Laptop hard disc?? this would be an amazing mistake from Propellerhead!!!

I can't tell you for the option, but no, you'd better not use your samples from the system drive, you will very likely have clicks and pops occurring then.

They changed Reason 3 a litlle bit from v.2.5.
All you have to do is to make aliases of the Factory soundbank and Orkesta and put them in the Reason folder - in the same level as Reason app. |

sorry but I don't get it, (I'm quite new) What do you mean with the Alises? ...I'm not speaking about the reason sond bank but my own library of samples and sounds. I tried to make "alias" but reason also doesn't recognize them. Could you explain me a bit more your suggestion?? Thax a lot!

Oh! my mistake.
Just read the "Getting Start.pdf" that comes with Reason 3 about "The Browser" on chapter 10. It tells you how the new process works. |
