Hello
I’m new around here. I have a pair of Numark Axis 4’s (CDJ’s) and a Numark 1050 mixer. What I need to know is how to record to my ibook whilst I’m mixing. Can it be done. I don’t want to use and external mic as the recording are to be demos for clubs and labels. Any help would be much appreciated. Zini |

You would need to get an audio interface for your iBook to do this. Something like an MBox or anything from M-audio or Motu and some kind of software to record it. There are a lot of them out there and some for free or very inexpensive on the software section of this site.

You could use something as cheap as an iMic for the hardware, and use the wonderful freeware program Audio Recorder by Ben Shanfelder.
Best of luck! |
