I've been trying for a week to set up my Korg Triton Le Keyboard as a basic MIDI controller for Reason 3.0. I've followed every instruction in every manual possible and i'm going nowhere fast.
I've tried using the midi setup in the Utilities folder and in Reason but I'm failing to get a signal from my keyboard. I'm completely MIDI illeterate so step by step help would be nice - ie, assume i'm a moron. My Setup Imac G5 20, 2GbRAM, 2Ghz Edirol UA-25 Korg Triton Le Reason 3.0 Logic Pro 7.1 |

Does the interface show up in Audio MIDI Setup?

UA 25 showing up but the MIDI won't - IE when it asks to hit some keys on the controller nothing is happening. Reinstalled all software and drivers. Using the pre-installed Tiger. All software is bought not pirated.

I'm also having a problem with Reason 3.0 and MIDI. I'm using a Waldorf Q+, a Tascam US-428, an Apple PowerBook with OSX 10.4.1 Tiger. Can't get a MIDI signal to come into Reason at all. I think the problem is Tiger (DON'T UPGRADE TO TIGER YET!)
If anyone has gotten Reason 3.0 to work with Tiger, please let me know. Thanks. |

I had this problem under 10.3. I had to "draw" a connection in Audio MIDI Setup from the interface to the MIDI input . Don't know if you tried this, but it's worth a shot.
