Soundtrack And Logic 7, Integration problems |

For the life of me, I cannot figure out how to open or import Sountrack projects to Logic 7. I followed the directions in the manuals (which all mention Garageband, not Soundtrack, thanks, Apple), but got bupkus.
Help, before I throw it all in the sea. |

In Soundtrack, you should export the mix (under the File menu) as something Logic will recognize, like an .aiff file. Then it should be a simple matter to just import that file into Logic. I do it all the time in ProTools LE.

Logic7 cna only import GB songs, as far as I know Soundtracks is a discontinued product.

Soundtrack is only discontinued as a standalone offering. It is still part of the Final Cut HD bundle (as it has been since the initial release).
Given Logic's ever expanding Apple Loop handling and the inetgration of Soundtrack-like abilities I sse using either one or the other for a project, integration will probably remain at the level of exporting Soundtrack tracks via solo and bounce. |
