Hi!

Maybe someone from this list can help me with my problem.
I have Opcode 64 x midi interface. Have been using it with Gibson's
drivers on Windows XP without any problems. But lately I've changed myold PC with new eMac and OSX. I've bought serial-usb converter and
have downloaded geethree stealth midi driver. Now OSX an
Stealth sees serial port but Opcode is still dead. Is there any way to
make it to work under OSX ? Maybe this driver just works with
stealth port ?

Thanks,
Piotr

Sure, Stealth Setup has found my usb-serial adapter.
I set my Opcode for 1MHZ and 4 ports and now I can see my interface under Audio Midi Setup but the icon is grey and thus it is not working.

Does it work on your system without Stealth port ?

Piotr

sometimes audio-midid setup greys out when you change something and you have to close-relaunch it.

I have a Opcode Studio 128X on a G4 MDD under OS9 and OSX, with the Stealth serial port card.

Under OS9 everything is normal.

Under OSX, when I want to use Pro Tools or any other software, like Digital Performer or anything, I must, when the software is loaded, power off then power on the midi interface, so it "signs" itself on the Midi network.

By the way, what is the USB to Serial adapter you use ? Are you sure it is ok for midi communication ?
