My hard drive is full and I want to put some proyects on data to have room to continue working with other proyects. But my problem is when the toater is verifyng the disc an mitmach error appears and the verifyng stops and the paogram get closed and the Data DVD doesn"t work . I need somebody who can tell me what I need to do. thanks

try to burn with just the finder.

If you still have a problem , try different media . if that fails as well, maybe your burner is broken.

Is Toast the only program open while you're burning? Sometimes I get an error message like this when I try burning DATA DVD's while Pro Tools is still open if it's data that Pro Tools is using. Also if you are working with the data you are trying to backup it could cause the error message. Also how much free space do you have left on your drive?
