"More info on Presonus web site." ? Well I didn't find any... Not on the homepage, not on the products page, not on the quick products locator and not in the PR section...

true, but it is on musician's friend.

This looks soo perfect for what I want/could afford, especially considering the FirePOD apparently is really sweet with really good drivers - all the reviews I read are positive.

I would like to know (can't find this anywhere) if this FireBox is firewire bus powered. Because that would be awesome. cool.gif

EDIT: oops - just saw it on harmony central - it CAN be bus powered. Hmm - if the drivers for this turn out to be good, i might seriously consider buying it.

'Cause I have about had it with my Mbox... angry.gif

Anybody know anything more about this interface?

Looks like the M-Audio Firewire Solo is going to retail for about 1/2 the price of the presonus firebox

and what about zero-latency monitoring? I assume it can do that too... right? but no mention or Mix knob on front panel...

but the firewire solo only has one preamp. - try doing stereo field recordings with that! smile.gif
