Hello everyone! I have been producing music for a while but now want to move to the next level. I use Pro Tools LE on a G3 and the system works fine. I use a MPC 2000XL for beats and sequencing. I have a iBook G3 700mhz, OSX 10.2.8 with Digital Performer 4.5 installed on it and would like to use it as a sequencer and have some VST for sounds. I have one VST loaded on it named Alpha. I can move the mouse over the piano layout and hear the different sounds but I can't figure out how to configure the EPS to be used to play the keys to trigger the sounds . I am using a using a MidiSport 2x2 to connect the two together. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Also could anyone tell me where I could find some nice VST's to use as sound modueles

Create an instrument track for Alpha, and assign the midi channel from the EPS to it wink.gif in the track config on the left of the window.

If the EPS is not visible, have a go into the Audio Midi set up in app/utilities to check this.

For VST and AU instruments check the "Soft" section here wink.gif Plenty of things into the software tracker. cool.gif
