I use logic express 7.0 primarily with virtual instruments and samples to create music but i have been adding vocals and things through recording directly into logic with my digidesign mbox. It was working fine for quite some time and i would just go to audio preferences, change (in the drivers section) the built in audio to the Mbox selection and record away. Now when i go to do that this error message pops up which says:

ERROR CODE 28159 was returned by the Core Audio Driver.

I cannot figure out a way around this. Can anyone help me?

I'm sure you've restarted your computer and all that good stuff. If that doesn't work try launching and connecting the Digi Core Audio Manager in the Digidesign applications folder before launching Logic. Sometimes I get those error messages and usually a restart or messing with the Core Audio Manager fixes it. For my taste the Digi Core Audio Manager could use some more ironing out. If none of that works you can try to relaunch your Logic Setup Assistant from the Logic preferences. Hope something here helps.
