Hi,

recently I got my hands on a 450 Mhz X2 G4. I installed Protools LE on it (I have an MBox) in OSX (newest upgrade) but I can't get it to work. The program starts up fine but when I try to open a session (copied in the same place it used to be on my Cube) I get this message: "The original disk allocation for this session cannot be used. One or more drives could not be found or are invalid for this session. As a result, disk allocation has been modified. Would you like to verify the new disk allocation?"
When I push "Yes" I get: "26 files are on volumes unsuitable for playback. Would you like to copy them to a suitable volume?"
"Yes" again and now it says: "volume-what-ever is not an audio playback volume." This goes for all my volumes, even the Cube, which I have used for audio-recording for half a year...

Does anybody know what all this means and how I can get ProTools to work on this computer?

Thanks in advance! MacMusic rules!

Hi,

I'm the owner of a VS1680 Roland studio that I used for demorecording with my band. Now I have stopped with this band I was thinking of using it with my Mac Cube.
I'm thinking of buying Logic. Which version depends on wether it's possible to use this configuration in OSX or not. Can I use Logic to control the VS through midi in OSX? Does anybody know were to find more info on this subject? Any help would be great! Thanks in advance!

Bert
