I have gotten mixed opinions on each item, I know the Digi 002 is the obvious favorite but I am still on the fence on if the extra money is worth it for solid preproduction. I recently purchased the Rode K2, a M-Box 2 Pro/Factory and an Apple Mac Book (since the m box refused to work with my pc) I am looking to produce some solid tracks ready to be mixed at a professional studio. I just want to know if the M-Box is the way to go or if I should take the next step and get the Digi 002. Thank you for the feedback! - J

J - I have an old MBox and an 002 rack, and I can say without a doubt that the 002 makes the recording process much better. Neither one has mic pres that sound any good -- you'd do better by using a cheap blue tube pre than the built in ones, but as far as working around latency issues the 002 has it hands down over the OLD Mbox. 2 cents for what it's worth.
