I have Cubase Vst 5/32 and it all of sudden won't open. I recently went back to using OS 9.1, after trying OS 10.2.4. Cubase was working fine just before I tried changing or optimizing my system for Cubase. Then today I tried to open Cubase and it started to load and froze. I reinstalled Cubase and still did the same thing. Just sat there as if it was going open.
I have a G4 433Mhz with 768 megs of Ram 80 gig HD internal and 40 gig internal HD. With OS 9.1 installed.

Hope someone could help with this problem! I have enjoyed using this version of Cubase. I have some projects I need to finish and I can't do anything until I can get this program up and running again!

Thanks!

Did you just install 10.2.4, I mean was there no OS 10 there at all befrore..OS 10 installs can play around with OS 9 drive authorizations.

Thanks for the reply. I had install OS X on another HD, not the one with Cubase. I had reinstalled Cubase after restoring my system back to OS 9.1 and it was opening fine. Now after optimizing my computer for Cubase it would'nt open anymore. I can't figure out what's going on with it.

It's puzzling!

I figured it out! I deleted the sound preference files and Cubase prefs, along with the Cubase Rex Shared Files and then reinstalled Cubase VST 32. All is well now, Cubase opens and works fine! biggrin.gif
