Hey community, I am currently working on recording a four minute classical guitar piece on DP 4 for Mac and at times, not always, I hear very much distortion in the headphones during playback. When this has happened in the past I usually restart my computer thinking that would solve the problem and it has in most cases, but not in this case. The distortion sounds like loud cracks and pops. As the dynamic range in the recording changes, so does the distortion. How do I eliminate this problem for good? My mics are perfectly fine during recording, the problem only persists during playback. Any advice would be much appreciated.
