Hi, Folks
Here is my problem. The Sound Preferences do not allow me to use Protools 6.9. This was not always the case. In fact it started two days ago. I click on the Protools icon and the app opens. After I have quit all of the free trial plugins that I am not ready to use, I start a new project. Everything is in place but there is no input. Although the Sound preferences recognized the Mbox before I start this process, when I open the Sound preferences pane after setting everything up the Mbox is not there. angry.gif (after many attempts)

Has anyone else had this problem? Are there any work-arounds? I really need to work in this application and would really appreciate some help. I hasten to add that I do not have this problem with Finale or Cubase SE.

Thanking you in advance,
Rev. Gerry

First of all, thanks to Mon. Lepetitmartien and Mac Dee for their help with my Audio Midi Setup problem. Everything is O.K.! :-)>>

Now,may I ask you about programming my Keystation Pro 88? So far I have only minimally used my controller, hooking it up to an edirol SD-20 Sound Studio, my iMac flat-panel, and a sound system. I now want to bite the bullet and plumb the depths of my controller's capabilities. I bought the keyboard because I knew that it was something that I could "grow into". Unfortunately, after reading all of the manuals and downloading Enigma, I still do not understand how to program my keyboard. Are there any videos available that give a step-by-step set of directions or could someone out there give me a "For Dummies" run down on how to do this? You know, in terms a layman would understand?

Hoping to hear from someone Soon,
Rev. Gerry sad.gif

I am having a real serious problem. When I try to attach the "virtual cables" in the Audio Midi Setup utility they will not attach. Consequently when I try to use Finale or Protools Le 6.4 the components of my system are not recognized, even though the proper drivers have been installed. angry.gif

(Keyststion Pro 88----->MidiSport 2X2----->Edirol Studio Canvas------>iMac G4)

I desparately need to be able to use my system. Easter is coming and I must prepare the music. Can anyone help me please????

Thanking you in advance,

Rev. Gerry
