How bad will my guitar sound if I just use http://www.valleyseek.com/product.action?itemID=19616one of these cables and not use an Mbox of sorts. I have Protools and other amp sound tools? At Sweetwater.com they have the Gearbox Gold for $100.00 but it's discontinued. The Silver is not. Will it be a problem with OS upgrades with my Mac. It is compatible with the latest Mac OS at this time,
Is this the cheapest way for me to plug into my Mac 100.00 at Sweetwater.com and if so will I be able to monitor what I'm playing along with GarageBand?
