I've downloaded some Midi files (.mid) and loaded them on a smart media card to load into a Casio px-400R. I get and error message saying these files are not in SMF0 format (standard midi format 0). The Casio came with conversion software that converts midi files to smf format, but it only runs on windows machines. How do I convert midi files to smf on my Mac?
Thanks
Casio's SMF Converter is software that converts commercially available Standard MIDI file (SMF) data to a format that is supported by CASIO Pianos, and then transfers the converted data to the Piano. After data is transferred, it can be used with the Piano's lesson function for lesson play.
It appears that Casio only provides this software for Windoze operating systems. Is anyine aware of an alternative midi converting software that will accomplish what Casio's SMF software does?
