I just got my first mac, a intel based iMac and i want to purchase Logic express as soon as i can. I see that i need the 7.2. correct me if i am wrong but i think that there is no Logic 7.2 full, and i first need to get and install Logic 7 using rosetta, then purchase and upgrade to 7.2?
If this is right is rather messy, isn't it?
I was planning to buy an firewire audio interface tomorrow, I was worried because my mac is a new intel based one and i thought there was not any driver ready yet. Well, i just remember that there are some audio intefaces that dont need any kind of external driver to work. and i got to the conclusion that these devices should work perfectly on both intel and PPC platforms right out of the box because they fully rely on the operating system. am i right? i need confirmation  thanks in advance.
