All,
I'm having trouble getting a stereo signal from my m-audio fire wire 410. I have a powerbook g-4,firewired through the m audio box pumped through a pair of peavey hks-8's. I have great output when using garageband and I tunes so i'm assuming I have a setting problem at the software level for the M-box firewire 410.
Thanks ahead of time

I am new to this forum and to mac's.Just got a powerbook g4. I am a aspiring songwriter trying to get garage band to cooperate with my mic. I am not getting any volume or very low volume during play back. I tried using an alesis pre amp with my shure sm 58 no luck with that then i tried an i mic. same deal. It looks like it is metering but no sound is coming out. I have check my settings and bit rate. I had it set as a real instrument basic male vocals and the volume level in tyhat pane does not meter and is grayed out. I do get metering in the track meters.
Thanks
