When I was 9 years old, I owned an Apple IIgs and a Yamaha keyboard I had recieved for Christmas. I loved the Apple and I loved the keyboard. I always thought "I wish there was a way I could use the two together to create music!". 12 years later I discovered Garageband and for the past year or so I've been learning about music on Macs like crazy. I have macmusic.org to thank for A LOT that I have discovered. I'm inspired by electronic artists like Orbital, and am excited to see affordable soft-synths coming out that emulate the hardware they used.

I apologize if this should be posted under Reason. I'm having trouble getting any audio transfered from reason to Logic Express, and being able to hear it. I open Logic, then Reason, and rewire appears to activate with Reason showing rewire enabled. I've tried using rewire channels mixL mixR in audio objects and don't get any sound. Any suggestions?
Anybody know some cool additive synth tricks?
When I started out making music on my mac, I tried a variety of styles.. I lacked any knowledge about music other than playing kyboards I self-tought myself to play when I was a kid. Just having a Mac tought me a lot! Here's a link one of my first recordings in Gband: http://homepage.mac.com/modesittfamily/mid...eSharing18.html
I've been using Garageband 2 for a while, incorperating AU plugins and instruments, and I'd like to know what the key differences between it and Logic Express are. Is it really worth the 300 bucks when there are so many Audio Unit plugins available for use in Garageband?
