Hi there
Apologies if this topic has already been covered (I had a quick search but couldn't see it). Basically I'm having issues with latency and CPU when using ablton 5.2 on my Mac G5. As soon as I start building up a track with a few VSt's running I hit problems.
I have a lot of music/sample cd's/refills store on my machine and was considering buying an external hard drive as I'm sure I've heard it can improve the system performance -storing your samples and music externally.
Can anyone comment on this or indeed confirm it ?
thanks very much
Hi there Just downloaded a demo version of lounge lizard three and am wondering how I can turn on touch sensitivy within live. At the moment the velocity is static which is a bit limiting when playing a rhodes type vst. Any feedback would be gratfully appreciated. Thanks Ed
Hi All,
Two questions for ya !! (Apologies if I have posted in the wrong area)
1. Does anyone know where I can download some free virtual instruments to be used with Ableton live 5.0 ?
2. I'm after a decent rhodes vsti and also a bass guitar and synth bass one - can anyone recomment any ?
many thanks
Ed
Hi All, just wondering if anyone could recommend a decent sound card for my mac g5. Currenlty have an on board card (that I got with the machine). Not looking to spend more than about £100. Any ideas? Cheers Ed
HI there I have just managed to set up my midi controller keyboard into my mac (G5) for use with Ableton 5.2. It seems to work ok and with very little latency. However sometimes when I hit a key nothing comes out at all. Any ideas what the problem might be ? many thanks Ed
