I've had a microKontrol for almost a year now. I used it on a WinXP laptop for a while. I sold the laptop and the kontrol sat for about six months. I recently bought a Powerbook and I'm finally getting back into producing.

Yesterday I tried setting up the microKontrol. When I plug it in all that happens is 3/4s of the displays blink orange or red and the octave buttons flash red. I found out from the manual that all the drivers should be included in OS X. I followed the instructions to open the midi setup utility and found the microKontrol isn't even recognized. I tried manually adding it but there are no drivers for it. And of course Korg doesn't have any drivers for it on their site.

I have a brand new powerbook with OS X Tiger and all the latest updates. I'm really hoping this is just a software issue and not a hardware. Can anyone help me out? Thanks.
