Hey whats up everybody. Hope everyone's well. I just read the Logic vs DP debate, it was very amusing. Originally I was thinking about getting Logic Express or Cubase SL. After reading that thread I gonna have to say Logic pro for $500, if I can find a student, sure sounds good. But I was just wondering how folks think Cubase stacks up, I'm guessing people generaly prefer Logic, but I thought I might as well check, maybe there's a way to get SX for cheap. I like the idea of lots of plugins and also that Logic's made by mac. I'm leaning towards Logic, anybody have any opinons. I'll be making beats/songs. Hip-hop, and the like. I'll be using Reason and other midi instruments, and I'll want to be able to record vocals (I can do that on both right?). Or should I consider any other programs?
I also have a real slow processor (400 mhz), but like 1.2 Gbs of RAM. It looks like Logic wins that category also.
Thanks for reading. smile.gif
