I own logic express and Korg Kontrol 49. I can't get the pedal to function as a sustain pedal. Right now it is set to start stop. Logic express identifies the Kontrol 49 as native and assigns midi controller 66 to the foot pedal.

I just reacently bought the Korg Kontrol49 & Logic Express. Alas, I can't get them to work together. Logic recognizes the Kontrol and even displays it in the control surface preferences. But, non of the faders or soft keys work. The Kontrol49 seems to have gone into "Native Mode" the way it's supposed to but it doesn't work.
Please Help
