Hi all.....Logic noobie here..Can anyone please help with /direct me to a source of a ready mapped Logic environment template that covers the 828Mk11 ( also have Proteus fx sound mod.connected). I'm up against mad deadline to produce a piece of music and cant find the fundamental really really basic info I need re how to create environment that enables all devices to work together without conflict. There's no problem hearing the Proteus sounds through the Motu - it's not a question of hardware set up . I'm hoping some kind soul will take pity and help me out of this mess and into understanding...and one day, I'll do the same for some other hapless novice!
Hi anyone Had an email notice that someone had responded to my request re any method of preventing or at least improving playback of cdr's but when I logged in there was nothing- so here goes again...I know there are often compatibility probs but nothing I burn on my G4 is escaping without significant dropouts/skipping . Is there anything that can be done about this as I have a large number of cd's to burn to send out and dont want the quality to be so erratic
Can anyone help with some tips for preventing drop outs on cdr's? I am having trouble with cd's burned in itunes not reading properly in other machines..but other musicians i know manage to burn cdr's on a similar set up to mine without the same problem and I don't know how to check to see if its my cd writer or what else it might be...
Help! Novice mac user trying to navigate around jungle of information and getting horribly lost! I recently bought a motu 828mk11 on the advice of staff at Turnkey to go with my new-ish g4 ( last of the dual boots) as I will have to be running logic and plug ins on os9 until the happy day when I can afford to replace everything with osX progs.
I was told that the Motu was compatible both with os9 and x, but find on scanning the manual that AudioDesk only supports osX drivers for midi. I therefore need to download drivers for os9 BUT I cannot get my connection to btinternet up and running in os9 as it does on osX ( though it shows up on the dock ). Is there a way of downloading the drivers for os9 via my internet connection on osX and then transferring them onto the os9 desktop? Or can someone suggest a way of overcoming the internet problem on os9??
