greetings and salutations!

need some help with midi setup

g4powerbook osx10.3.8
software--ams audio device reads ok
software--ams midi device reads nothing
apple menu/prefs/hardware reads device ok
device is novation remote25
driver install ok

so what gives?!

any help would be great!
