Hi I have just upgraded My G4 450 Processor to a Sonnett 1.2G SP
For those intending to buy on of these , you must check that your firmware is up-to-date under the Classsic Operating system(9.2.2) even though you are running OSX .( before you physically upgrade)
I have 512MB Ram at the moment but by putting another 512 in , will I see a significant difference in performance? I have heard that MACS utilise memory very effectivley as opposed to PC
IS there any software i can use to tweak the performance of my MAC now?
I wonder if you can help. G4 450 512 MB OSX 10.2 Cubase SE I loaded up loads of wavs and copied them on to the desktop . Then I dragged and dropped them on to the Keyboard User interface of Halion. and saved loads of different samples as a Bank of instruments Now I cant send these desktop files to the trash it wont delete them , says i do not have user access. So now I have deleted these banks but it still will not let me get rid of the individual WAVS, even to put them in a folder of any sorts. Ive got hundreds of them on the desk top!!! Any ideas,?
Hi
I presume this has come up before so apologies if this is a duplication. I have Cubase SE on Mac OSX 10.2.8 and I cannot load up the Groove Agent VST . I have gone to the Groove agent website and done exactly what it says about the Text edit but it still doesnt work , Has anyone had the same problem.?? Any ideas?
I have just upgraded from 9.2.2 to 10.2 Jaguar and I was running Cubase VST 5 and now have upgraded to Cubase SE.
Everything was working fine before but I cannott get any sound out of the MAC with 10.2.
Now I think its not the Cubase as I can see a signal with my Midi and Audio , but i think its the general setup of the Mac OSX 10.2. What have i forgotten to do? Its frustrating?
Hi
I bought a 2nd hand Mac earlier this year and it had cubase V5 VST and many Plug ins on it. The Mac is a G4 400 512 30 gig hdd. Being a PC user I have had a nightmare trying to understand the OS9 Platform and the complications of the extension manger etc. I have now decided to opt for the Steinberg Studio case and going to OSX. Can anyone give any feed back on what OSX is like and would it be better to go straight to the new Panther version that came out in the UK on Friday . Also will all my old plug-ins work on OSX? Any feedback would be appreciated
Cheers
