It was a pleasnt experience for me when i first worked with my Mac G5, but a rude shock when i found out neither powertab editor nor guitar pro have mac compatible versions....

- Is there any link from which i can get Mac versions for these software? If yes..please help..

- Is there a similar guitar tabbing software for mac users? If yes...which one?

- I have downloaded a software (the only one of its sort that i could find) called G7. Its very good. But unlike powertabs, and guitar pro, i cannot find a site where i can download G7 tabs. Guitar pro has mysongbook.com, powertabs have powertabs.net....is there a similar site for G7 tabs? Is the collection of tabs as extensive?

Im sure there are a lotuf mac users who are guitarissts too...how have you guys managed??

Being a windows user till date. I used to learn the covers for my band with ease. There was guitar pro, and powertabs. They both had websites with extensive tab collections. Now both these amazing softwares arent compatible with macs. Is anyone aware of any similar software (with an extensive tab library) for macs. I downloaded a tabbing software G7. It is good, but i havent been able to locate guitar tabs.

I have virtual pc installed with windows XP. BUt the midi player doesnt work there. Its tooo slow, and all broken up. SO powertabs are useless there.,...Can i make them work somehow???
ANy tips..???

Thanks!
