What's Your Favorite Dance/club Music?

I have always appreciated good dance music and was just out of high school in 1977 living the disco life. I laugh about that now. We just threw a big dance party for many of our friends and families with nearly 200 guests there. It was a formal black and white theme. For kicks I rented a white 3-piece tux and wore a shiny black shirt, gold chain and Italian horn and dyed my salt and peppered hair to it's original very dark brown and went as Saturday Night Fever Travolta. The crowd loved it and it was a great time, and yes I did the finger in the air move, haha. We had a hired DJ. Needless to say a lot of dance music is out there.

I have built up a pretty extensive music library using my cds and most of my friends and families collections. I have 19,000+ songs. I thought about building a strickly dance music hard drive and a printed request album for it. I could then do the music for when another event comes along by hooking up my Mac to a friend's band's awesome sound system.

What are your favorite dance/club songs from all era? I like variety and so all genre are welcome. I'm talking music that you can REALLY dance slow or fast to, not just songs you like with a good beat or makes you feel good. Thanks for your input.

Fw410 With Behringer Ada8000?

We are currently using an old mixer and Quattro to bring in live guitar and vocals into our Mac. We use the Bias suite of software. Everything works just OK because of the usb and input limitations. We plan on upgrading to a firewire setup soon. We've been eyeing the M-Audio FW410. The saleman at Guitar Center said we could expand it's capabilites with the Behringer ADA8000. If this is true we could add more inputs and even mic the drums. Has anyone tried this or added input ports to a FW410 using something else?

Headphone Recommendation?

Hello All,
We recently picked up some Bose Triport ($149) headphones for my son to use with his computer, iPod and Marshall electric guitar amp.
These headphones sound absolutely awesome when used with the computer and iPod but my son says the music really sounds terrible when plugged into his guitar amp. He said the bass is lost and the whole thing sounds tinny. Are there special headphones for strict use with amps or are we missing some sort of "box" between the two? Also if there are special headphones can you all make a recommendation? Thanks

Soundsoap Stand-alone Version Released.

This is a free upgrade if you bought the initial plug-in version released earlier this year like I did.
This product works great for quickly removing tape hiss from audio recordings.

M-audio's Omnistudio Usb?

Hello All,
Ever since 10.2.3 (now running 10.2.4) my Quattro has worked flawlessly with my Bias Studio's Deck, Peak and Sound Soap.
I held out with this little device waiting for the time when X and my software were up to snuff.
I feel pretty comfortable with OS X now and am ready to move up to some better hardware.
I originally bought my Quattro with the idea of picking up the M-Audio Omnistudio PCI setup so I could be portable AND have the benefit of the PCI's bandwidth strength when needed.
Now I see they released the Omnistudio USB device combining the Omnistudio AND the Quattro's connections all into one device.
Has anyone used this product? Results?
I would have loved to of seen a Omnistudio FW device released instead of USB even though USB has seemed fine with my Quattro as of lately.
